Hi, I'm Björn Heirman. A Dutch amateur photographer born in 1977 in Haarlem.
After completing my Master in Industrial Design Engineering at the TU Delft, I was co-owner of a IT company for around 14 years until I decided I needed to be somewhere else. I sold my part of the company to my business partner and enjoyed my free time since.
The last couple of years I'm working as a teacher for a couple of hours per week on both primary and secondary schools. which is very rewarding. The rest of the time I'm exploring hobbies which come and go. The only one that really stuck with me is photography. Wherever I go, I usually have at least one camera on me.
I also like to collect cameras. On the "My Gear" page you can see a small selection of my collection, but I do have many more interesting camera's like a couple from the Sony Mavica series, many small point and shoots and even a couple of Gameboy cameras which actually produce really interesting images. I even have a dedicated instagram account for the Gameboy Camera. Go check it out and see what I mean.
